The Renewal Retention Clerk will work in a fast paced, goal oriented, call center environment. Requires the ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities, primarily payment processing, handling mail and receiving/routing inbound customer service calls.

Job Duties:

  • Processes payments including verifying, classifying and posting transactions

  • Reconciles ledger to ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly posted, requests disbursements, and assists with discrepancies

  • Processes mail return

  • Assists customers that call the department/office with issues and determines the best answer based on knowledge of the business (transfers calls to others as appropriate)

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • 2 years of directly related experience to role

Required Skills and Competencies:

  • Displays strong initiative and work ethic

  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines

  • Ability to work independently

  • Possesses excellent analytical, verbal, and written communication skills

  • Well organized and detail oriented

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office suite
