Interested in becoming a QA Manager at Aaron’s? The QA Manager will build on and maintain a world class software testing organization with the focus of putting people first. The QA Manager is responsible for recruiting, hiring, and developing junior, intermediate, and senior level QA associates. The manager will represent and build Aaron's IT brand and involvement in the Atlanta technology community.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Directly supervises team leads and analysts/engineers including the preparation and delivery of staff performance evaluations and career development activities

  • Manage resources to ensure current and future business demands are met

  • Establish metrics and monitoring to ensure test validity and coverage

  • Develop KPIs to measure the success of the QA team

  • Evaluate and implement proper tools and training to improve test coverage and value

  • Recruit, manage, train and evaluate the performance of the QA personnel

  • Represent and build Aaron’s IT involvement in the Atlanta Technology community

Education and Experience:

  • BS in Computer Science, Engineering discipline

  • 6 years of QA / testing applications in an Agile development environment. Or, equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • 2+ years mgmt. /supervisor experience with demonstrated success in leading and influencing

  • Experience in developing, implementing and maintaining a cost effective, long-term automation strategy and framework promoting reusable components, low maintenance costs, high efficiency and scalability

  • Experience mentoring and coaching associates, specifically with QA methodologies and best practices

  • Experience with multiple programming languages and test automation technologies preferred

  • Experience working with teams using CI/CD tools and methodologies preferred

  • Develop and execute mobile testing strategy

  • Understanding of enterprise architecture and SOA

  • Excellent at leveraging an issue tracking system

  • Functional knowledge of automated testing tools

  • Proficient in the use of version control system

  • Expertise in database testing in Microsoft SQL Server environments including designing and manipulating test data, validating stored procs, jobs, triggers and replication

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
