Interested in becoming an Identity and Access Management Analyst with Aaron's? The Identity and Access Management (IAM) Analyst will provide leadership and focus for the Identity and Access Management (IAM) architecture and standards, provide assistance with role based-engineering when new applications or changes to existing applications are introduced and/or when business functions move from one department to another. This role will also be the primary support for the Identity and Access Management (IAM) tools including PowerShell, Azure reporting, and Service Now automation, Microsoft Identity Manager, Office 365 and Active Directory.
The Identity and Access Management (IAM) Analyst provides analytical ability and creativity in developing and implementing solution deliverables for a medium to large sized project or major segments of a larger project. The IAM Analyst must balance technical work assignments, internal/external audit request, assigned project work, engagements and proposal risk while providing technical guidance to newer or less experienced team personnel. Provides the detailed technical knowledge of complex software solutions. This position requires significant knowledge across multiple platforms, processes or architectures.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Provides technical advice to project managers, product owners and team leaders, and gives technical direction to team members, vendors, and/or contractors
Operate within documented processes and procedures for Role based-engineering to maintain controls
Develop process and/or procedures for both technology and business functionality
Recommend IAM design changes/enhancements for improved systems security, availability, and automation
Act with sense of urgency when reacting to problems and gaps in tooling and procedures
Develop and maintain the Identity and Access Management Architecture and standards
Provide evidence and process documentation for privileged access, user reviews, PCI audits and internal/external audit engagements
Sustain the two-tiered RBAC standard methodology while still complying with business requirements
Identify and provide support for IAM/ InfoSec incidents including internal violations, email security, compromised accounts and system outages
Provide advanced technical support to the help desk and business units when needed
Provide role-engineering activities for various business needs
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in System Development, Cyber Security, Identity Management or Access Management required or equivalent work experience
3 – 4 years of experience in System Development, Cyber Security, Identity Management or Access Management
Required Skills and Competencies:
Perform work activity in compliance with IT Infrastructure standards & required Core Competencies
Cross-train across the Identify and Access Management domain, in order to backfill and backup peers as needed
Working knowledge in using different identity synchronization / bridging systems between legacy IAM systems and Cloud
